At Kaiteriteri, this morning.
 This is a popular beach near Motueka, in the sunny region of Nelson,  New Zealand.

At this time of the year the beach isn’t crowded with visiting tourists. Today, the sun was warm with the water gently lapping the shore. No wind and little noise meant the native birds were the dominant ‘sound. I t felt like paradise.

It was a very special time having our daughter home for an unexpected visit - the July visit will be much longer. .
