Pretty Pose

This juvenile ring billed gull wasn't the least bit intimidated when I came along with my camera--I wanted the yellow boat in the background,  but I thought it would fly off when I started walking around in front of it to get the angle right!  Not so--it struck a pretty pose & sat through a number of shots as I moved about--It was most impressive! 
Tom said the temperature dropped so quickly today that it's legs were probably frozen to the railing!     :))
