A better day for ducks

Weirdly unsettled weather again with roughly even parts of bright sunshine, rain and hail, all mixed up by strong winds.

Collared doves are normally rather neat and tidy little things but this one looked like it had been dragged through a hedge backwards. It was on the garages at the back of my block preening and having a good shake of its feathers, presumably in an attempt to dry out. It really wasted all that effort as 20 minutes later we had a tremendous downpour accompanied by thunder and lightening - good to see summer is almost here!
