For the Taking

Fell into as much ground cover (moss, hens and chicks), rocks and bricks that I could get into the truck. Not fell as in toppled over, but fell into as in getting something.
They're tearing down Fred's house; the developer isn't keeping any of the landscaping; said the neighbors could take everything. Fred was in my garden club for years. He and Chad lived here and Chad had award-winning roses. I'm not going to dig out full grown roses, maybe get a cutting or two, but am happy as can be for the plants. The rental house needs lots of plants.
