Art and fine weather

Even though I was struggling with a fibro-flare I couldn't stay inside the house all day in this beautiful weather. I walked (slowly!) to the center of town to see a few exhibitions in Listagilið. One of them was the annual exhibition of the graduating class of Myndlistaskólinn á Akureyri / Akureyri School of Visual Arts.  This is one of them; Eva Björg Óskarsdóttir. I got to know her (and her boyfriend) through some projects in Freyvangsleikhúsið, great people both of them.  Eva's graduation-project were ear-studs made of wood and the shape of the studs is based on earmarks farmers use for sheep here in Iceland. She calls the brand "Merkja" or "Mark".
