The last of the sun #2

I maintain a few websites for non-profit organisations, and I spend the day trying to see how to comply with the new EU "cookie law". Unfortunately the law is ill conceived, and takes no account of the fact that many websites are built on open source software packages. Volunteer developers such as myself don't have the time or the skills to rewrite the base code.

It was sunny at lunchtime, and as ever I put off going out, thinking it would be a nice evening. In rolled the cloud, leaving this last glimpse of the sun.
