First Rose

This starting to flower in the shared courtyard outside my window. I've tried to engage with gardening this patch & received a polite message this morning from the estate manager to forget it !!. Not what I imagined housing for the elderly would entail eh!. IE,' please don't bother us, die quietly, then managing this estate without people would be a lot easier' : bit like the NHS.
You may want to tell me I'm ranting : true, the whole thing is utterly tedious.
