Caithness Sky

My school years were spent in Caithness and I never get over just quite how big the sky is there. Would have loved to have spent more time taking more pictures but Saturday consisted of a day driving (for fun), from Aviemore, up to John O'Groats and then back down to Tain.

No sooner had we got out of the car in John O'Groats and I met my old school mate Ivor (quite unplanned), he runs the ferry from Groats across to Orkney. So it was a very quick cup of coffee and chat before we had to head back down the road for dinner in Tain.
