Velociraptor

Not Poppy, she is a pussy cat (please excuse the mixed metaphor.)

Mathilda the Foul, is a Velociraptor. She struts around, comb erect, tail up. Pecking at any minion which comes within head nodding range.

We wondered is she was actually a cockerel - had we been sold a pup (ooops, I am doing the mixed metaphor thing again) But today, she laid an egg, her first one. I guess that is conclusive proof that she is a she. To celebrate she ran around and jumped on a few heads. We let her free range around the garden. Poppy got too close. Velociraptor mode was engaged, Poppy retreated.
