One species each day (from my backyard)

And this must be the second most abundant weed in our vegetable garden: Veronica persica with it's stunning blue flowers! After all my night/flash photography, the daylight macro photography proved a bit of a challenge. Exposure times are long and there appears to be always enough wind to cause blur at such short ranges. However, it wasn't too windy, and this one was tucked in between the other weeds, so it is reasonably sharp.
