street party

The school had a "street party" in the playground today with entertainment provided by the various classes. It ranged from cute (P1s, a song about summer) to somewhat surreal (P4s, the National Anthem with a sticky CD and their teacher dressed as the Queen). London's Burning as a choice of song perhaps indicates one of the teacher's political leanings. There was also a clown to entertain the wee ones, caught having a fly cuppa just beforehand. It's thirsty work being a clown.
