Speed Trap?

I'm sure there's a good reason for this S-bend on the tramlines near Murrayfield (designer boredom maybe) but surely a simple curve would have been, well, simpler. And cheaper too - Ah, I've answered my own question!

I found a bit of long-awaited form at the tenpin tonight, just enough to sneak through a singles match. I'd expected that to be my final game of the season but instead there are now two more chances for glory. Very remote chances admittedly!!
