Scratch Match

Today we played Meltham which is just above Holmfirth of "Last of the Summer Wine' fame. Playing golf half way up the Pennines in a howling gale and pouring rain is not the best way to see this beautiful part of the country!

This is Wendy who leads out Driffield's Scratch Team and keeps us all motivated and amused! I don't think the Meltham ladies knew quite what to make of us, but we had a great day despite the dodgy minibus and Wendy posed for her birthday snap Behind their bar!!!
