The View From My Run
As the sun was starting to set I made sure my run was going to take me to the top of Hillyfields so I could stop and take this picture.
I am in full training mode now for the Dublin Half Marathon on August 2nd. This is week 2 of my 12 week training plan. Today's run called for 3 miles at an easy comfortable pace and 2 at a faster pace.
Here is what I managed:
Mile 1: 9.17
Mile 2: 9.56 (Hilly)
Mile 3: 9.45
Mile 4: 7.56
Mile 5: 8.25
Generally I struggle with consistent pace but at least I sort of stuck to the plan.
Tomorrow is my regular Tuesday night run with Loughton Athletics Club.
