Pissing it down

Day 10
Crail to Cullen Bay

Vile day, hammering it down the whole way. I. drove which gave me the break I didn't realise I needed.

We covered a lot of miles, mainly because it was too horrible to get out of the van but also because we wanted to get the least picturesque stretch of coast out of the way.
I texted my stunted, almost Hobbit-proportioned, Scottish friend to tell her I was in Dundee - 'do not get out the car', she warned. Her sunny natured misanthropism has sustained me over the last 1600 miles.

We did get out at Old Rattray to walk the dogs. It was bloody freezing, really icy. Finally we stopped at Cullen and the rain stopped too. It's a beautiful evening and I'm warm and well fed - I had the skink, of course.
