Upper Inverroy

We were very "green" today. Rather than driving to the start of this walk we walked to the start of it from the house then continued on foot as usual. Taking the car is not motivated by laziness. It simply avoids having to walk at the A86 road side with Caley in a heightened state of excitement about the walk.

The forecast warned us to expect a soaking and we went suitably attired. If you look closely in the image you can see icy columns of precipitation sweeping past the Grey Corries. Fortunately the rain and hail seemed to veer past without us getting too wet.
