ladies who lunch

We had a lovely day with the Hampsons and the Staffords in leafy Sutton Coldfield. Everything (aside from the amazing front windows) was pleasingly familiar and it was gorgeous to spend time with beloved old friends. I can imagine Staff Man squawking "WHO ARE YOU CALLING OLD?" as I type.

We were sad to miss a special commissioning service at their church last night..... especially as we now know we missed seeing you Han Span! This will teach us to serve lunch more swiftly next time.

The picture shows Asha and Eve ready to dine at a special table for two put together by the ever thoughtful H. Eve later referred to H as the "pretty lady in Asha's kitchen"! I believe the resident pro will be blipping a better pic later!
