MonoMonday - Day of the Triffids

Mrs madwill and I went to Thirsk today to do some of her birthday shopping!

We started at a garden centre to get some plants and containers - and of course had coffee, bacon sandwich and a scone (the latter two were shared ).

Then, as the rain had eased off, we went into town for wander - there was a little market today where we got some fruit and veg,

Whilst Mrs madwill was in the fabric shop I stayed outside to photograph this old cinema - which has been in use since 1912. I had to wait ages to get no people or traffic in the shot!

The tenuous link to the Mono Monday theme is that it has probably at some time in its history shown one of the Day Of The Triffids films!
