Stay of execution

...for my wisdom tooth. My dentist had a change of heart and has decided to refer me to specialist for the extraction. In the meantime he has re filled it and re filled a cavity in the adjacent tooth, muttering about the possibility of root canal work at some point in the future. Oh joy. The whole experience took ninety minutes but for now I am relieved, if a little puffy round the mouth. He agreed that we will wait and see how I get on before he makes a referral. I hope it isn't necessary after all.
