Mini Beer Fest

A trip to the city today in the the rain today but it was so worth it!

A visit to the Finders Keepers Craft Market at the Carriage Works at Redfern for Andrea to spend too much money on stuff (which was apparently my fault)

Then we went to the Farmers Market just over the road and picked up some very spicey beer sticks (cured sausages)...... the beard finally coming in handy as I scored a free sausage cause the guy liked my beard! Who knew it would lead to free stuff!

Then off for lunch at our favourite noodle house for some warming Ramen!

Then the highlight of the day (and the main reason I wanted to go to the city!), a mini beer festival at the Local Taphouse, show casing the best of Australasian beers from the Melbourne Beer Festival a few weeks ago..... there were 20 beers to try..... mission accomplished ! Admittedly most of them were only in these wee shot glasses but over the afternoon I did find a couple of winners and moved on to full sized measures!
