One species each day (from my backyard)
Here is a close-up of a cut fruit of the Acca sellowiana. They're dropping off our tree by the hundreds. We've picked up tens of kilos of them from under the tree and there are still plenty in the tree. We may get a total of 100 kilos this year. We love eating them as they are but they're way too many. I made about 16 litres of wine from last year's harvest, and about 30 from this year's harvest. I wonder if I should make another batch. I took this picture for on the wine label when I've bottled the wine. The flowers would also make a very nice picture, but it's just not the right season for that. Maybe I should take a picture of the flowers for next year's wine labels.
