The eyes have it ...

I'm rarely courageous enough to approach strangers and ask permission to photograph them, but a few months ago I introduced myself to Johnny and his mum when I was down at the beach. I think it was those eyes that won me over and his photo became my blip entry for the day.

Delighted to bump into them on the weekend and they agreed to come over for a portrait shoot today. Oh, what a completely gorgeous boy and a delight to photograph. At 18 months old he is discovering his world and has a sense of openness and wonder about him.
