This morning after Miles' basketball game we went to the farmers market with Nana where we got some fresh fruits and veggies and of course flowers for mama.
Miles has been equal parts adorable and challenging the last week. He can definitely sense change and he knows change is coming with mama going back to work. I will try and focus on the cute and adorable side now. Here are a few cute Miles sayings lately:
- he overheard me talking about buying something on Amazon and he yelled, "are you going to buy those talking birds mama? Please, please?!" Referring to the birds in the movie Rio, who apparently live in the amazon.
- when Miles talks about getting bigger like daddy, he always says, "when I'm bigger and wear glasses like daddy I can [mow the yard, drive, etc]" But he always associates getting older with wearing glasses
- when working on Legos or puzzles or other projects he will say, "don't worry I'm the hang of this" (instead of in GETTING THE hang of this).
Miles had an impromptu sleepover at Nanas which allowed Mitch and I to get a lot of house stuff done, since the girls sleep so much ;)
