St Mawes

Spent most of the day over at St Mawes.

We went over to see the local school children's re-enactment of the coronation. It was presided over by a VERY strict lady who had everyone sat up straight ,listening and certainly no talking. It was enjoyable on many levels. The lack of any fancy technological enhancement, the amateurism ( the 'Queens carriage' was very sternly sent back early on in the proceedings as it had started too early- to much crowd jeering - we were all told off for that - all 500 of us !!), the sun shining, the enactment was enlightening, the very Britishness of it all.

Then back for a barbie over at my sister's house. Currently watching the jubilee concert then going to watch the beacon set alight.

A very Jubiltastic day !
