I thought that this morning picture would be my only chance of sun today but repeatedly it defied the forecast and refused to disappear behind cloud. A beautiful day for a family party. At one point I noticed that my camera was in my daughter’s hands and looking at her pictures this evening I realise that finally, after enough years to deserve such a party, I am at ease with images of myself. Either that or my daughter is a very good photographer. Perhaps both.
