Operation Pied Piper!

What a blipping marvellous day we have had in Haworth!!! Big thanks to LoveLupins17 for "organising" ;-) lovely to meet JaneM too!

So much to see and do........people dressed up to the nines in all manner of outfits; Army, Navy, Airforce, Gi's, Land girls, Homeguard!

We took the steam train from Keighley up to Haworth...so nostalgic! Lots of people in 1940s vintage outfits, who had come from all over the place, including quite a few Americans.

I took literally hundreds of shots and it's been so difficult to choose, but I wanted to blip one that gave a real flavour of what the weekend was all about, so I plumped for this family, who evoked emotions of how difficult it must have been when the children were evacuated during "Operation Pied Piper".

Oh yes, and one that was worthy of 365 status :-D
