Helvellyn

Our last chance for a good walk in the Lake District and having gazed at Helvellyn yesterday evening we decided to have a go. I know that I'm not cut out for Striding Edge so we chose another route and made it to the top. The wind was at least 45 mph so I didn't hang around taking photos at the top for fear of being blown off but this is fairly close looking back towards Ullswater. Dinner will taste even better tonight
