fingers crossed

While I was away for 10 days, Taylor Jr was in charge of the seedlings and not yet germinated stuff in the greenhouse.

As you can see, he did well. Maybe he has his grandad's green finger genes. These things skip a generation, don't they.

If all comes to fruition (a ludicruous expectation in this climate) we'll have courgettes, carrots, chard, Brussels sprouts, coriander, flat leaf parsley & basil (the Italian kind).

Having come from a garden where the gooseberries, redcurrants and peaches are well advanced, it was rewarding to have some glimmers of hope for my own.
