Never Never Land
It was like being in fairyland!
Can you possibly imagine kneeling in a patch of nettles and buttercups, all quiet apart from a lone singing thrush up in the tree, on a canal bank with rays of sunshine intermittently sweeping over whilst having all the newly emerged damsels either on the stems or flitting around you. Just you and them in your little world. It was truly magical.
As it was chilly when the clouds came over they were quite slow and it was rather nice in a way to see them flying from one stem to another in an unhurried way. I've never seen so many like this before.
'So come with me, where dreams are born, and time is never planned. Just think of happy things, and your heart will fly on wings, forever, in Never Never Land!' J M Barrie: Peter Pan
