Tomorrow is Fascination of Plants Day so I have chosen The Day Of The Triffids for MonoMonday's May Scifi theme. (It is also UFO Day but I thought you might have had enough of them). The classic John Wyndham novel was made into a film in 1962 and tells the story of flesh eating plants that spin out of control after 99% of the population is rendered blind after watching a meteor shower.
