a pod of pelicans

I wanted to use a congregation; being Sunday & all, however these were neither alligators nor plovers.

The morning sky was blue, but the trees didn't make the outdoors look like much fun. But alas, one cannot wait for the wind to settle when you live near the coast. Bikes on board, we headed out to a little coastal village to ride the paths. Albeit very short, but with todays market stalls & higher than normal traffic - there was enough trouble looming for LittleMissDuo to avoid a collision with each other & anyone brave enough to stay on the path to pass.

These pelicans looked far too comfy - and I wanted a photo of them taking off.....LittleMissDuo had the job of getting them to fly... poor poppets were initally a little fearful of these monstrous flying machines. But we did get a few photos.

Baked bread. Had a nap. Came to work.
