The gods

Much movement of family members today, culminating with a second trip into Edinburgh for a Daragh O'Briain gig at the Playhouse. I got the tickets last week and we were at the back of the balcony. So far away that there are opera glasses for hire.

The gig itself was good but not great. Daragh speaks fast and the sound system was not up to the job, which made it hard to catch all the gags. And there's not much more important at a stand-up gig than being able to hear what's being said.
