Jacobean/Jacobite?
Having a bit of a clear-out of Ms H's room while she is away, I came across this work of art. And as with all great works of art it comes with a story.
I think this probably dates from P7, and one lovely summer evening I had gone to collect Ms H from her friend's house, around 7.30pm (bedtime then being around 8/8.30pm). Oh what a lovely time they had had, and all was well, then just as we were leaving friend's mum asked me how we'd been getting on with the Jacobite house project - she'd been finding it a bit tricky (and she's an artist). Hmm, what Jacobite house project? I asked. Oh, the one that's due in tomorrow, she said.
Cue mad dash home, interrogation of Ms H as to exactly what she was meant to be producing for the next day (and was it Jacobean or Jacobite?), googling of said building styles and pressganging Mr H into work on this little masterpiece. The piece de resistance being the orange outdoor cludgie that Ms H insisted on.
Unfortunately it's not really built to last, so we'll take a few more photos of it before it meets its fate.
