Merrick and Mar-mar

We had a mini post office reunion tonight with an old boss. There were about 10 of us, including Shelley (Naturelover) and I, along with our spouses.

Donna H. was a fine boss. I think it's the little things that make the difference between a great boss, and a so-so boss. Every morning, after taking off her coat, she would make the rounds...saying hello to every single employee. A small thing, but it made you feel good. Plus, if you had a problem...her office door was always open, and if she agreed with you...she would jump at trying to come to a solution...to make things better.

And, (being a little sexist) she was easy on the eyes, and took great pride in being a sharp dresser. Like I said...a fine boss.

After the party, Me, Merrick, Mar-mar and Niya (dog) took a short walk out in our little nature preserve. I took a picture of Merrick leaning up against a tree, and was going to photoshop him high up in the crook of the tree, but in the end decided on this one of Merrick and Grandma.
