Nuclear Rush

That's what this muddy race was called. Lots of obstacles, lots of stinking mud, lots of fun though. I've got a few war wounds from my afternoon of mud racing. Some people think I'm mad but I do like the challenge. It was nice that we had a few different obstacles to get over. I like doing different courses. One obstacle I couldn't do was 120ft of monkey bars. Apparently only one person made it to the end of that one. I hardly manage any and I fell straight into the mud. It was lovely running in the woods as the bluebells were out and for just a short while the smell was delightful.
It took three hair washes and three body washes before I had all the mud and smell off me. My clothes are still going around on thier third wash. Ive got my medal though and I've had a good day.
My boys had a good day too. Not that the Ipswich/Norwich game went their way. They did go to Norwich to see the game and Tom was given Mcgolgricks shirt. He threw it at Tom at the end of the match. He's delighted. He also got his photo taken with David Sheepshanks the director of Ipswich Town.
Out for dinner tonight as no one could be bothered to cook.
