Cuddles with Grandad

We had the wee fella on his own today as Lola had headed off for a sleepover at her Gramps and mummy and daddy were having a mini-break in Aberdeen. The day started off with lots of sunshine so we headed off to the park at Strichen but by the time we got there it was back to hail showers and heavy rain. Still we saw the swans and cygnets, lots of ducks, a heron, and the highlight an otter. Lovely to see but doesn't augur well for the cygnets and ducklings which were decimated last season. The inclement weather just forced us to take a wee trip to the lodge where we indulged in coffee and some fancy pieces. Yummy! Hope you're enjoying your weekend too fellow blippers!
