We went out to the Festival of Museums today. There was a free vintage bus between several of the big museums so we walked through the city and caught the bus to Scotland Street School Museum, where we made photos with light reactive paper, saw some dancers, talked about tadpoles and played hopscotch. Then we caught the bus again and went to Kelvingrove for lunch, an Elvis impersonation (by Alexander), and then a chance to try underwater archaeology (sort of).
Alexander wrote his name under water, it's actually a better effort than when he isn't underwater, he must have had to concentrate hard! After that he drilled a hole in a stone with a bow drill. Then we walked back to the car in the rain and went home for a lie down...
