Cactus flowers

This was going to be a rant about how tired I am, although I don't seem to have achieved very much in the last couple of days, but I can't be bothered!  

The awful weather is getting everyone down, we've had some lovely bright sunshine but punctuated by horrendous downpours and endless winds with a real icy edge to them.  The poor plants are really struggling, most of the vegetable garden is covered in fleece, trying to protect the little seedlings from the sparrows and collared doves as well as the elements!  

Never mind!  In the satsumary the cactus is flowering its heart out, a real blast of summer colour!
