Upgrades and preparation
Took Matilda across to Essex today to visit a friend who also has a Morris Minor Traveller. Apart from coffee and chat we had a few jobs to do in readiness for some forthcoming trips in our cars.
First job was to fit a full electronic dizzy, coil, plugs and leads from Acuspark into Matilda. As you can see Matilda has some bling under her bonnet. No more points to adjust, just smooth, strong power to get the sparks going. This will improve fuel efficiency as well.
After that we set about erecting our new tents we'll be using in Scotland next month, then Yorkshire in August. His garden wasn't big enough to pitch both at once but they look good and will serve us well.
Tonight I popped down to the allotment to watch the sun go down and my daughter move about 10 wheelbarrow loads of horse manure onto her beds. This allotment lark can be exhausting...
Saw the pigeons starting to attack the neighbours fruit trees. May have to put some plans into action. Surely I can out wit a pigeon..?
