Awesome

On a horrible rainy morning in Buda, this painted church was like being inside a jewel box. I'd heard that our plain stone churches were,  in medieval times, painted all over but it's hard to imagine. This church, however, was the business. Incredible. Hard to do justice to the effect. The two extra pics attempt to give a flavour of the richness.
