Friends

Today I found a new friend: this cheeky Rosefinch! I have never seen one here in Finland, even though it should be common species. In finnish it is called Punavarpunen. Grandmum still feeds birds, as the spring has been so cold here.

I am so happy today, as my friend T promised to help us in the kitchen during my daughters high school graduating party. I am so grateful to her, as she will come for help! Her son will graduate next year, so maybe I can offer my help vise versa...

It has been a busy day for me and for the family: I washed some party dishes in the evening, planted Sunflower, Chard and Marigold seeds with teens into soil as we visited grandparents and helped a little in gardening there. And in the morning, as the family was still asleep, I baked some cakes (to be freezed for the party), baked also some waffles for breakfast. And we bought a spare fridge to be used seasonally...

I am done due rocking around the clock.
