Fretful

My good friend misterprime had remarked to me on here yesterday that, following my youngest's birthday sleepover, I would probably be napping today. I replied that I would be far too busy fretting about the football to be napping, and how right I was. So now we (Hull City) just have to go and beat them (Manchester United) next Sunday and hope the Newcastle and Sunderland results go our way as well. It's do-able, but is, in football parlance, "a mountain to climb". And our manager Steve Bruce's  performance against his former club currently reads four draws, seventeen losses and no wins. But, there's got to be a first time for everything, yeah (?). Bring it on, I remain eternally optimistic. Always.
