There's Nuthin' near it!

It might have been 1915 were it not for the dress style and the fact that the figure pointing I know is  a lady. That would never have been countenanced 100 years ago when the game  was for Gentlemen only.
The title refers to the fact that it is a  dreadfully  poor end of bowls where no bowl lies near to the lonely jack (the small white ball lying close to the right hand corner  of the picture).
In 1915 the club coach would have been sacked!
