Phyllis & Fred

Who needs an alarm clock when Phyllis and Fred are around!

The familiar 'kor kok' followed by the whirring of wings from Fred and the 'put put' from Phyllis could be heard this morning at 5:30 am. Phyllis is the only female still accompanying Fred on his travels around the gardens. We think the other females in his harem Flora, Phoebe and Fearty, must be sitting on nests near the river.
