Salen Pier

Left Tobermory this morning for the ferry from Craignure.  Stopped in Salen where last year we had met the ethical shellfish man on the old pier which he was busy restoring.  The pier gate was closed today so we couldn't walk out and get the views up and down the Sound of Mull but it looked as if the business was doing well.

Ferry was slightly late into Craignure - I think it was the wind.  The captain displayed great skill manoeuvring her into the slipway.  The crossing was fine though. Not bumpy at all. A couple of hours down the road from Oban and we were home. Lovely to be here, but sorry to leave Mull.  It's been a great holiday.
