Stanstead to Plovdiv

Long day travelling. Left home at 9a.m to catch the 10.03 York to Peterborough train, met Zanda and Amy there and then went on to Stanstead to fly to the fabulous city of Plovdiv.... Landed 9pm Bulgarian time.
Bertram our Airbnb host met us at the airport to ferry us to his very nicely situated flat in the old town. Once settled we went for a late walk, found a place to eat and quench our thirst then came back to base to watch the fire-fly seagulls playing in the lights of the ancient ruins.
