Loch Lomond in May

It was sunny when we left the house, but by the time we reached the loch about ten minutes later, it was spitting and looking a bit dreich... but the sun was out again within minutes.

Unfortunately the temporary path avoiding the eroded part of the West Highland Way was a mud-bath, so Minty and I turned back and walked along the pebbly shore at Milarrochy instead. It wasn't as long a walk, but Minty had fun retrieving sticks from the waves ripples at the edge of the loch.

This afternoon we walked up to the woods that had been a sea of bluebells this time last year, but alas, they are very nearly gone and not worth blipping. I completely forgot about them this year.

Happy Valley  tonight - yay!
