Christening

Today we went to my friend's granddaughter's Christening.  Usually the priest asks you not to take photos during the service but today as he asked the parents and Godparents to come up to the altar round the font he also asked for anyone who wanted to take photos! Guess who went up!

Here the little one is being allowed to smell the Chrism before being anointed!  I think she thought she was going to eat it......mouth wide open!

It all went so well and the priest was really child-friendly.  He is new to the parish.
