Rain Stopped Play

A somewhat frustrating day in keeping with a somewhat frustrating week!

After three days of sunny weather and a rest week in the petanque league, tonight we had our cup game against our local rivals, Pontyclun, and it didn't stop raining all day!

Despite two of our club members best efforts to try and drain the piste I had to reluctantly call the game off. The one piste as you can see was still heavily water logged.

The weather forecast was spot on all week and to add to the sense of frustration there is no forecast for the next few days either .. it is the law of the sod!
