Such A Tiring Day

I do not often get to write in the journal and here I am being back blipped! I ask you.
 
Mum was very cross all day yesterday, with the builder and plumber all over the place. Me and Dougal had to be shut in the human’s bedroom all day! We were let out for a little while once they had gone. Then we had to be shut in the bedroom again, all evening.
 
The builder and plumber were here working in the existing bathroom, things did not go very well and one of them broke a glass lampshade. Both denied it, but whoever did it placed the pieces in a neat pile on the dining room table. The plumber also broke the existing hot water tank so another one had to be obtained.

Today’s picture is of ME, not my brother, taken when we were shut in the bedroom during the evening, for three hours. Apparently, the new pipes attached to the new hot water cylinder were leaking and water was pouring all over the new bathroom floor. It took the plumber three hours to sort it out, but me and Dougal slept on the bed while our Mum managed to keep her temper, kept out of the way and read her book.
